How to confirm hours before you go
- Open the state licensee list. It gives the legal business name, address, and license status.
- Check the store menu page. The page lists the closing time for the day.
- Call the store. Ask about holiday hours, inventory days, and last call for orders.
- Ask about the cutoff for online orders. Some stores stop taking orders 30 to 60 minutes before close.
What to bring and what to expect
Bring a state ID and your medical cannabis card or certificate. Caregivers need the caregiver form and their own ID. Many states cap how much you can buy in a rolling period, such as 30 days. A store can refuse a sale if your card is expired or if the purchase exceeds the cap.
