You need two readings: pH and electrical conductivity (EC). Germination water should sit near pH 6.0 to 6.5 and EC 0.2 to 0.4. Place a digital thermometer at seed depth, not on the wall. The difference between air temperature and medium temperature can be 5 to 10 degrees. A small hygrometer inside the dome tells you whether vents need to open.
